Appointment Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing will require deposits on all appointments in order to be scheduled in the calendar.

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. Unfortunately, over the last few weeks, we have seen a major increase in last minute no-shows and cancellations.

Based on the total price of your services, appointment deposits will be $25, $50, or $100. This is a non-refundable deposit if canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment. If you need to cancel/reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, a new deposit must be made on the new appointment.

Is the deposit an extra fee?.

No, the deposit will go towards your total price for services rendered. It is NOT an additional fee. For instance, if the total price is $400, and your deposit was $50, then at time of checkout, you’ll only pay $350 (don’t worry, we’ll keep track of it all).

Why do I have to place a deposit for my appointment? .

We’ve seen an increase in no-shows and last minute cancellation/reschedules. This brings a lot of problems for a small business like ours. With a deposit, it lets us know you’re serious about working with us (and we appreciate that!).

What if there’s ugly weather?

Being a mobile detailing company, weather plays a big role on when and where we can work. If the weather is bad, we’ll just reschedule your appointment (no other deposit is needed).

Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing Service Agreement

By booking or using Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing services, you (“Client” or “You”) agree to the following terms and conditions, which constitute a legal agreement between you and Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing (“Contractor”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”).

Cancellation Policy

♦ 25-48 hours notice: NO FEE
♦ 24 hours or less notice: $25, $50, $100 fee. Based on the total price of your services
♦ No call/No show: Full service amount charged up to $250
♦ Client not present or vehicle unable to be detailed upon arrival: Full service amount charged up to $250
♦ Michelangelo’s Mobile Detail reserves the right to cancel or reschedule based on staffing, traffic, weather, or equipment issues. Gift certificate appointments follow the same cancellation policy.

Late Arrival

Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing reserves the right to arrive up to 120 minutes late. Sometimes job schedules are tight and we may need to push your appointment back a bit. Traffic can also have an impact on arrival times. We ask that you be patient with our arrival.

Vehicle Access, Operation & Service Quality

When booking our services, you agree to provide Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing personnel with access and keys to your vehicle to perform auto-related services such as detailing, ceramic coating, tinting, wrap, wet sanding, and other cosmetic enhancement services. Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing endeavors to perform services to a high standard, aiming for a clean, damage-free exterior and spotless interior. Any concerns must be communicated within 24 hours of service completion. Michelangelo’s Mobile Detail is not liable for concerns raised thereafter or if you do not participate in the final inspection.

Accidents, Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitation Of Liability

Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing will document pre-existing damage but is not liable for pre-existing conditions. If damage occurs under Michelangelo’s Mobile Detail care, you will be notified. Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing provides no guarantees or warranties. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim. Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Fees, Service Terms & Payment

The fee for our services is the “Total Cost” indicated when you book online. If the job exceeds the estimate by over 20%, additional fees will be confirmed with you. Payment is due upon completion via Credit Card, Debit, or Cash. Late payments incur a 10% fee plus 0.5% daily interest until paid. You agree to pay Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing collection costs if applicable.

Safety

You must disclose any harmful substances in the vehicle prior to detailing. You are responsible for any health/safety issues arising from your vehicle.

Feedback, Termination & Governing Law

We welcome your feedback at place mfaria@michelangelosdetailing.com. By booking our services, you agree that Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing may use pictures of your vehicle for marketing purposes unless you object in writing. This agreement is governed by STATE law.

By booking and using Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing services, you certify that you are authorized to agree to these terms on behalf of the vehicle’s legal owner and are 18+ years of age. You agree to indemnify and hold Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing harmless from any claims or damages arising from your lack of authority to enter into this agreement.

Mandatory Gratuity Fee

If the Client does not show up for the final quality control check and inspection at the end of the job, a mandatory gratuity fee of 10% of the total service cost will be added to the invoice. This fee is non-negotiable if you are not able to go over the vehicle with the technician at the end of the job.

I Understand That

♦ Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results with our work.
♦ Your payment to Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing is expressly for the dedicated service time on your vehicle, not tied to the attainment of any specific outcome or result.
♦ Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing limits its liability to the total dollar amount of each job.
♦ If the job takes 20% longer than anticipated we reserve the right to charge an extra dirty fee totaling $50 per every half hour on top of the total cost at the discretion of Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing employees (We will ask you before proceeding with extra charge).
♦ All Sales Are Final.

Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing Changes

Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing reserves the right to modify this statement at any time. Any changes to this Service Contract will be listed in this section, Michelangelo’s Mobile Detailing does not make any commitment to update the materials.
